Our journey

In 1993 CMM was founded in Gemona del Friuli and was initially dedicated to maintenance activities;

1996 first international supplies;

1999 acquisition of the first 3D design system;

2003 FEM software implementation;

2006 Inauguration of the Eco-sustainable Painting Department;

2007 Inauguration of the new plant;

2018 Developed the first solutions dedicated to steel making;

Today: Cmm specialises in the construction of industrial machinery for various sectors to complement the plants for steel production.

Safety and training are our focal points. To ensure that they are constantly guaranteed to our employees and collaborators, we are part of the network of companies “Percorso Sicurezza” which makes prevention the focal point during processing.

Environmental Sustainability

The reduction of emissions and processing waste is one of the objectives of C.M.M.

In addition to the mandatory regulations on waste disposal, smoke emission control in the atmosphere, and wastewater treatment, we have almost totally replaced solvent paints with water-based paints and we are passing almost totally to electrically driven handling vehicles. We also invested in renewable energy already in 2010 when we installed a system of photovoltaic panels for a power of 81.075kW/ year and a heating system with solar integration.

We also believe in the circular economy and therefore the surplus energy is put back on the grid and the processing waste is scrapped and recovered by other companies.

Social sustainability

In support of the corporate intent to pursue not only profit, but also social sustainability, we believe it is fundamental to undertake various communication and awareness-raising activities on issues related to health and well-being within the company. In particular, we involve all our employees in activities of sharing the critical issues present in everyday work and then plan for improvement.

Since 2023 we have entered into a generative agreement with Foxwin srl benefit company in which we have set ourselves the goal of improving employee happiness.

Every month we ask all employees to evaluate the aspects of the company that make them satisfied and the results are constantly monitored.

Quality and certifications

The up-to-date design department and the modern production sector have the necessary quality certifications, including ISO 9001:2015.

Our production staff holds the necessary Welding Procedure Qualification Certificate (EN ISO 15614-1) licenses. Each of them is certified “Welder Approval Test certificate” (EN ISO 9606-1 135 P BW FM1 S t12 PF ssnb – FW) and performs all operations with procedures in accordance with standard 3834.
